According to Computer and Video Games, Sony has announced there will be a playable PS3 at the E3 convention in May. This news, combined with the hints from platform makers Nintendo (Revolution) and Microsoft (Xbox2) suggest the three big firms are looking to mix it up all at once at E3. Sony said a more concrete statement will come out in late March. We shall see.
Will there be a playable versin of the PS3 at E3 in May?

3. i do believe microsoft is heading for a disaster..xbox 2 cannot match the power of the highly inovative ps3....keeping in mind that the worldwide sales of ps2 has grossed to 81 million units as opposed to just 20 million units of xbox i feel ps3 will have a clean sweep..microsoft is clearly suffering from marketing myopia

4. XBox 2 is in for a hard time.
The PS3 will have more under the hood in terms of graphics, the Revolution will have some sort of revolutionary form of gameplay, and gyroscopes (and possibly a hard drive according to rumors). The gyroscopes mean the Revolution will have the best FPS control, with keyboard and mouse precision.
The XBox 2 will have...what? Halo 3?
Their only hope is to get a bunch of "Exclusive" titles for XBox 2.
